This morning, I heard on the radio that a Partenavia P.68B Victor (reg. OY-BSE) had landed at EKSN for refueling. I took a chance and biked like hell to catch it, but alas, I missed it by only a few minutes. Instead of heading straight home, I decided to hang around for a while. My gamble paid off: the aircraft made another refueling stop later in the day, giving me plenty of time to photograph it and chat with the pilot.

Quite a few airplanes in EKSN today. But this was definitely the highlight. FFA AS-202/15-1/16M Bravo (seriously, what kind of model name is that?). Reg. HB-HFF.

The weather was perfect today, so I dug up my Olympus PEN Lite E-PL7, packed lunch, and biked to EKSN. There wasn't much action, so I entertained myself by monkeying with my E-PL7.

We've had a very special and unique visitor in EKSN: Fairchild PT-19A Cornell ‘163’ “Spirit of Little Norway” (reg. LN-BIF). Also TIL: Little Norway https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Norway

Today I missed an airplane at EKSN because I spent most of the day debating with myself wether I should bike to the airport or not. Note to self: next time you're in doubt, just fucking jump on the bike and pedal away. Worst case, you'll get some exercise and fresh air.
I missed the open house at EKSN today because I wasn't feeling well, but I took an enjoyable bike ride to the airport instead. It was delightfully quiet and calm there, and a single airplane was parked on the apron.

Another "What a day!" kind of day. I added two more airplanes to my photo library and even caught an unexpected flight on an Aero Shark. I also managed to snap a few photos of the barn swallows that usually keep me company. And to top it off, two hares dropped by to pose for a photo.
